Here they are waiting for Reagan's friend Chloe and Chloe's Daddy.
Lincoln is Mickey Mouse, and the cutest one I think, and Reagan is Alice in Wonderland, she was so excited to be Alice today.

Can't stand waiting so they start dancing and acting super silly.

The silliness continues until Chloe arrives with her Daddy.

They all look so sweet and innocent, but we all know the real truth :)
Chloe is Super Girl, she looked awesome!!!!

They had a great night with only minor run ins with some pretty scary Darth Vader's, when Tim put Reagan to bed tonight she prayed that she wouldn't see anymore Darth Vader's....I think the girls were a little traumatized. My Dad also went with the guys but came back early with Lincoln, he did pretty good, but enjoyed handing the candy out more.

Happy Halloween!!!!

pumpkin carving

So we started carving pumpkins yesterday, Reagan wanted Disney themed pumpkins. So, after hours of searching on the Internet I found this website by Disney, click on fall fun then on pumpkin carving and you will have 3 carving patterns to choose from, Cinderella, Nemo, and a Castle.

I carved Cinderella and Nemo, and I think they turned out pretty good. I will post a picture tonight of what they look like at night.

Pretty cool looking, huh?

Just so you all know that these are pumpkins
and not some fancy CGI stuff.

Beavers Win!!

Beavers played against Stanford and won 23 to 6. It was a great game and a beautiful fall day. This is walking up to Reser Stadium with all the pre-game events.

These are our seats in the Wells Fargo sky box, complete with blankets and binoculars, although we didn't need the blankets but the binoculars came in handy.

This is Tim, Sandi our private client banker and me. I have known Sandi since I was preteen little girl and would follower her to any bank, we love you Sandi!! There was great food, good company and it was all about the Beavers.

I don't know if you can see it but the band is spelling out BEAVERS.

Tim's step dad is a 2 time all American wrestler when he went to OSU, so they honored athletes like him, they welcomed the football players on the field, I circled him in orange.

The brand new video board is the largest in the pac-10, its huge.

This is a view from inside the box, it is located 3 boxes from the end, close to the presidents was so much fun!! Once a year we get to experience the game like high rollers

And this is the beautiful sunset we saw, it was a great day without the kids, wish we could go to every game.

Go Beavs!!!

All better

Tim went back to work yesterday and is at work today, so hopefully he won't have anymore vertigo problems. Tomorrow we are going to the Beavers football game in the luxury sky box, can't wait!!

Hope everyone has a great weekend, Sunday we are carving pumpkins and roasting the seeds, so that should be a lot of fun.

I will post picture's next week.

deja vu

Tim is sick again with the vertigo, but this time it hit him hard. My Dad and I had to drive to his work an hour away so my Dad could drive Tim's car back for us. Can I just say my parents are such lifesavers, I'm so grateful that they are retired and available. Actually my Mom and I have a pact that we both won't leave the state where we live.

On Saturday Tim and I are going to the Oregon State Football game against Stanford. The best part of this event is that we will be in a luxury sky box with free food & drinks, we will be dry and have ample seating options.

Pumpkin Patch 2007

I will have the poll going until Friday, so you can still vote in the previous post.

Last year we went to the Roloff's Farm, you know the family farm from Little People Big World
on TLC. We saw everything they had and quickly realized that the tree house, and the pirate ship weren't meant to hold the amount of visitor's they had at the farm. We did have a fun time, but this year we decided to find a place a little closer, and we found Bauman Farms.
This is the place where Reagan went on her field trip with her preschool class.

Lincoln loves animals, if it were up to Lincoln we would have stayed in the stinky barn the whole day.

We found a calf and when it mooed Lincoln's face lit up like Christmas morning, and then Lincoln mooed as if he was talking to the calf, and then the calf came over to us....its like he was Dr. Doolittle.

At this farm they had this zipline swing thing that is a lot of fun, so we got in line and waited our turn. Tim took Lincoln to walk around until it was our was a popular ride. Just so you get the idea you climb up to this platform that is somewhere between 30 to 50 feet above the ground. Attached to the zipline are swing set seats, you sit down and they let go and weeeeeeeeeeeee. I got a little nervous when the teenage professional who asked me right before Reagan got on, "is she old enough to go by herself?" I said yes, but then wondered why there wasn't any height requirement or age requirement? As you can see she did great and thought is was the best thing ever. I guess its up to the discretion of the parents to decide if their child can go or not.

Mommies turn.....weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Then it was off on the hay ride to the pumpkin patch, we had one simple family rule, you had to be able to pick up the pumpkin you wanted to bring home. We brought home some nice small pumpkins, this rule is mainly to help out Tim, because he is the one who ends up carrying all the pumpkins anyway.

School Picture's

In Reagan's backpack today I found her school picture's. She looks so cute and definitely a girl that goes to school. I also am realizing how much she does look like her Dad. I do think she looks like me but when I look into her beautiful eyes all I see is her Daddy. She is growing up so fast.

In these picture's we are all about the same age, 3 to 4 years old. So what do you think? Take my poll and let me know.

sneak peak

This is a link to Daveen's photography web site, click on the blog section and then scroll down to the second entry, the first one should be Reagan and the second one is Lincoln.
I can't wait to see the rest, now I just have to wait patiently.

Some other exciting news, Reagan started reading today. It was amazing, she was reading "hop on pop" by Dr. Seuss, I wonder if this means we can't spell in front of her anymore? I still can't believe how everything has just clicked for her, this is happening way too fast.

Praise God, there was no rain! Fog, yes there was fog and it was a misty wet morning, with clouds, which means perfect for photographers, and there was some mud.

It was hard because Lincoln our precious Lincoln wouldn't leave my side, I don't know how Daveen did it, but she was able to have some great moments with him.

Reagan was a doll and made several clothing changes, I think she worked 3 different skirts and 2 different shirts, she is all girl!

I can't wait to see the sneak peak on her blog. I will update you all when she does. She is going to come to our home with the proofs at the end of the month....I can't wait. Hopefully we will get some good shots for some Christmas presents, and something to put above the mantle.

tut tut it looks like rain

Please pray that it won't rain tomorrow morning during the photo session, more specifically between 9am to 11:30am.

I'm really looking forward to this, we are going with a red theme, Reagan has this really cute Red dress, a pink and red cherry skirt and this adorable dark pink puffy dress up skirt with lots of tulle. She also has red rubber boots, and a cute umbrella with little red lady bugs on it. We are also taking her Suzy bitty baby doll and her cradle for a prop if we need it.

Lincoln has some really good outfits with red in them and he has some new jeans. I'm also taking his antique red fire truck, and some fireman rubber boots.

We are going to an apple orchard, if the weather holds it will be a perfect morning for picture's.

I will let you all know how it goes. Please don't forget to pray, I believe in the power of prayer, and nothing is too small for our God.

Mom's group

The mom's group I attend at our church started up today and I couldn't be more excited. We are doing a study called waging peace, its all about conflict and peace making and actually dealing with problems instead of pretending they don't exist all in a healthy manner. My friend Emily has joined our group and I'm extremely excited about that because we have been friends since our freshman year in high school. I don't get to spend enough time with her so this is one way for us to get closer to God together.

I also saw Chrissy, she use to be in our group but is in a different group and she said that she reads my blog all the time. I can't believe it, I didn't know she read it, it's kinda exciting.

Gotta make lunch, ciao for now.

Sturgeon?....what sturgeon?

In the post about my Granddad's funeral I posted picture's from our stop at the Bonneville Fish Hatchery.

Apparently the sturgeon we visited were stolen, 6 of them to be exact. These giant fish can weigh over 350 lbs and live as long as 100 years.

Here is the story.
