Cream of Asparagus Soup redone

This is so good and so simple.
I used two bunches of asparagus
Cut off the ends and discard.

Steam the remaining stalks until tender. 
Put in an ice bath then purée with submersion blender.

In a separate pot;
Melt 2-3 tablespoon of butter over medium heat and then add 1 cup of whipping cream until it boils. 

Then add puréed asparagus to cream mixture in pot and add salt and pepper to taste. 

I add a few croutons for texture.

So yummy!!
