Lily Dollhouse

The Lily all wood dollhouse by Greenleaf.
This was a Christmas present to the girls from their Nana Sue.  Really working hard to finish building it in the next week.

But as you can imagine with school out and three kiddos, it's hard to get a solid uninterrupted 10 mins of work.

Staining the floors, sanding, and adding a  few coats of poly.  What did I get myself into?!

Wallpapering with scrapbook paper.  This has to be done before the windows get glued on the inside or it's a pain in the neck.

Partitions went in next.

More "wallpaper".

Bay window walls got glued in and more wallpaper was added.

Next will be the inside door trim, I'm waiting for it to dry so I can sand and poly it so I can then glue them in place.

This has been harder and more detail work than I expected.  I found a blog that has really help me a ton!!

I don't know what I would do without this amazing blogger, she has paved the way and made it so much easier for me.  The girls will have a complete dollhouse in the next few weeks.

Schools out for summer

Tim left me a note and a cd to play when I picked up the kids.

We have been busy the first two weeks of summer vacation.  These are just a few pictures of how we've spent our time.

I super busy working on and finishing the dollhouse.  I promise a post soon about the dollhouse.
